Deep Diving on Mars

2016 / 2 Weeks / Short Term Project / ENSCI – Les Ateliers / Paris

The aim of this 2 week intensive course was to experiment with materials, their combination and various manufacturing techniques at ENSCI – Les Ateliers. In the rush of the latest discoveries on Mars, I decided to merge the emotional spheres of curiosity and excitement and disorientation.

The result was an immersive audio-visual installation on human scale. In the transition from an exterior to an interior sphere, the perception of the surrounding world transforms. One perceives alien sounds while ones view is partially distorted. By moving through space and time one discovers new sensations and fascinating aspects.
